Components of Prevention
As
prevention practitioners implementing programs in schools, communities,
clinics, agencies, or other settings, it is critical to identify
and use science-based strategies that are likely to be most effective
in meeting the needs of the people with whom you work. When you
base your program on a set of strategies proven effective through
rigorous evaluation, you increase the likelihood that you will reduce
substance abuse. CSAP's Northeast CAPT has put together a series
